FAQ’s

What is Diamond Collective?

Diamond Collective is a non-profit organization based in California that provides long-term support through restorative experiences and leadership opportunities. We partner with anti-trafficking organizations that focus on crisis intervention and recovery -offering their clients opportunities for joy, leadership, and transformation. We also prioritize legislative advocacy to influence public policy and reduce re-exploitation.

Who do you serve?

We serve women (18+) who have experienced human trafficking and their children. Our programs are survivor-centered, trauma-informed, and offered at no cost.

What are “Restorative Experiences”?

Restorative Experiences are designed to help women move beyond survival, to create a space where they feel seen, valued, and celebrated; cultivating moments of joy, trust, and connection that spark growth and healing. Restorative Experiences are aimed toward women no longer in crisis. These may include hiking, art nights, cultural outings, family picnics, horseback riding, or kayaking. We offer these experiences with care, safety, and dignity at the center. Survivors gain leadership skills by learning to plan, budget, and co-facilitate restorative experiences through our survivor leadership development program.

Can survivors refer themselves?

Yes! We accept self-referrals as well as referrals from trusted community partners and service providers. Survivors can contact us directly via our Contact Page.

Do you offer housing or legal services?

While we don’t directly provide housing or legal support, we collaborate with trusted organizations and can offer referrals when needed.

How can I get involved?

There are many ways to help! You can volunteer, donate, attend our events, or join our community members and volunteers who lend skills, time, or opportunities to move our mission forward. Email ashley@diamondcollective.org for more info.

Do you only operate in California?

Our main operations are based in California, but we are working toward offering international Restorative Experiences in the future that ignite deeper cultural perspectives in women who are no longer in crisis mode, broadening their worldview and perceived opportunities. Our long-term goal is to give opportunities to women across the country.
